How to Contribute

The GAME Resources is a living document. We welcome improvements from people with disabilities, makers, disability professionals, engineers, game developers, and anyone interested in adaptive gaming!

Want to suggest content, fix bugs, or help us improve this resource? Good news! All of these resources are open source (they are stored in this GitHub) and you there are a few ways you can contribute.

Use GitHub

If you have something that you think should be added to the GAME Resources, you can create a pull request on GitHub to add a page to the guide.

To do so, click this link to go to the project repository. Create a local copy of the repository. The branch this website lives in is website-v1.1, you will want to use this branch.

Once you have made the edits you want for your new entry, create a push request for the repository, and an MMC team member will review it and either add it to the guide, give feedback on what needs to be changed before adding it to the resources, or will not add it if the content is deemed inappropriate for the guide.

If you are unable to create a local version of the GitHub repo to modify the files yourself, you can download the website-v1.1 branch and then submit it through GitHub issues.

Send Us an Email

Not comfortable with GitHub yet?

That’s okay! You can still help. Send us an email to info@makersmakingchange.com describing your suggestion or attaching a document with what your have in mind. We can help turn it into a page in the guide.
